He appeared on the 13th episode of season 1 looking for Toby and was determined to find him and talk to him personally. He broke into Ray Mercer's office and took Toby's files. It seems that Toby was very valuable to him because of his gift. He was wounded by det. Marks, which he killed, and then was killed by Frank Cardea.
