Carrie Foster was an police officer friend of Michelle McCluskey.
Background[]
She meet Michelle during her time at the police academy when Michelle had come as a guest speaker. She asked Michelle some questions and the two hit it off and became friends.
Season 4[]
In The Blue Line, Carrie is answering a call for a armored truck robbery in progress and attempts to stop the robbers. This is when they open fire and Carrie takes cover. As the robbers drive away they shoot at the car and their bullets go through and kill Carrie on the scene.
